VishwaNova - derived from "Vishwa" (World) + "Nova" (New Star) - represents the emergence of new light of innovation for the world.
This flagship innovation expo and startup platform at MIT World Peace University brings together budding entrepreneurs, creative minds, and industry leaders to celebrate and nurture groundbreaking ideas.
The event is open to all students, including Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, UG, PG, PhD, and other recognized academic programs.
Aligned with the visionary principles of Vishwadharmi Dr. Vishwanath Karad, VishwaNova aims to provide a stage for students to showcase their innovative projects, connect with venture capitalists, and transform their ideas into successful startups.

How VishwaNova 2026 now works
The process is now simpler. Teams complete the online submission packet first, check the results, and then follow the Grand Finale steps directly from the dashboard.
Submission Completion
Register your team and complete the initial payment.
Upload one Google Drive folder with your presentation, project video, and supporting files.
Watch for the results announcement to see the confirmed Grand Finale line-up.
Grand Finale Experience
Selected teams confirm attendance and complete the Stage 2 payment.
Present the project live at MIT-WPU with your prototype, model, or working demo.
Engage with jury members, faculty, and the showcase audience during the final exhibition round.
Payment Structure
Simple two-step payment flow
Teams pay ₹200 during the submission phase. Once selected for the Grand Finale, they complete the Stage 2 payment of ₹800 from the participant dashboard.
